Windows 10 home single language que es free
Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. I reinstalled Windows, this time the plain Home edition, not the single language edition. The problem went away as respects the search box and Maps, but it now shows up in some of the Settings, such as if I try to assign a static IP address to my computer. However, if I go through the Network and Sharing Center and right click on the network adapter properties, I can make changes there.
If this is the only problem that I have, I don’t think that I’ll do much more. However, if you can tell me how to get to the journal and send you a copy, I’ll do that, and I’ll also try the Safe Mode option. Not sure how I can get you that file, though. Well, there’s no way for me to attach that file to a message here. I don’t know how I can get the file to you.
I installed an older version of Win 10 Home, and everything worked fine. Then, after a couple of updates, I no longer could make keyboard input to some apps, such as Maps. In order to get some work done, I reinstalled Win 8. It makes no difference. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. My installation is new, within a week. After finishing installing my apps, I put the computer into service today. When I try to type into the search box next to the Start menu button, nothing appears.
Also, when I try to use the Maps app, I am unable to type into the boxes there. The keyboard works fine with Microsoft Office apps, the Firefox browser, and other apps. I cannot figure out why some built-in Windows apps will not work with this keyboard.

I ran the repair utility as recommended, and the process completed successfully. However, after rebooting, there was no change; the computer still will not accept keyboard input in the Search box or in Maps. Any more thoughts? Does the problem occur is safe mode? Did you look at system journal?
In reply to Igor Leyko’s post on January 26, I have no idea how or where to find the journal. To check system journal right-click Start, select Event Viewer, open Windows at left and select System journal. Then look for error messages events. You may right-click on System and select “Save…” to get evtx file.
In reply to Igor Leyko’s post on January 27, Attached is the file. I do not understand what it means. You may share file to OneDrive. In reply to Igor Leyko’s post on January 28, That would require me to share my OneDrive login credentials which are the credentials for my Microsoft account.
Isn’t there another way? I don’t want to share that information. If there’s a way to provide the information via OneDrive without my having to give you my login credentials, I’ll appreciate your explaining how–I don’t know how to do that. You are writing here so you have Microsoft account and provided the information already to access OneDrive. In reply to Igor Leyko’s post on January 29, I uploaded the file to my OneDrive account.
